However, I cannot get the device to play tracks from the MB server. The device is currently able to see and play all my music tracks when served up from my Logitech Media Server. And while MB is running on my Win7 desktop PC, the music tracks are on a NAS mapped as Z:\.

My device is a Samsung BluRay/DVD player connected to my home network via a wired connection and a static IP.

I'm looking for some guidance in getting it set up correctly. This is a very nice and welcome addition. I have made an attempt at supporting access from X-Box devices, so if anyone has one i would be greatful if you try it out and confirm if it does work. Keep in mind I have only implemented access from within your home network for now, so if you are trying to communicate outside the network it wont work. If you are getting odd behavior, then start by enabling the debug log which is an option in the configuration screen (a file "UpnpErrorLog.dat" is created in the same AppData folder as the error log).

If your device is not being detected then first check with some other software which you know works with your device.
